Abstract:
To provide a light deflector that can increase the accuracy in detecting the angle of oscillation of the light deflector.SOLUTION: A light deflector comprises: a reflection part that includes a reflection surface for reflecting light; support parts that are connected with the reflection part at one ends; a stationary part that is connected with the other ends of the support parts; piezoelectric members that deform the support parts to oscillate the reflection part; a frequency detection part that detects the frequency of a driving signal input to the piezoelectric members; a displacement amount detection part that detects the amount of displacement of the piezoelectric members; and an operation part that calculates the angle of oscillation of the reflection part based at least on frequency information on the frequency detected by the frequency detection part and displacement amount information on the amount of displacement detected by the displacement amount detection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
