Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance detection efficiency of a light detection element.SOLUTION: A quantum dot layer containing multiple quantum dots is arranged on a substrate. A re-entering structure is arranged on the quantum dot layer. The re-entering structure makes the light passed through the quantum dot layer reflect to re-enter the quantum dot layer, and makes a polarization component in the first direction re-enter the quantum dot layer after being converted into a polarization component in the second direction different from the first direction.
