Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens unit capable of preventing a shear plane on a coil spring end from being caught by a coil spring and a lens barrel therebetween in a play eliminating mechanism for biasing a lens barrel to rotate using a coil spring.SOLUTION: The lens unit includes: a holding member; a lens barrel which holds a lens group and is arranged to rotate at a predetermined angle on the optical axis relative to the holding member; and a coil spring which is held between the holding member and the lens barrel and is arranged to rotate integrally with either one of the holding member or the lens barrel to bias plural projections on the slide plane, which are formed other one of the holding member or the lens barrel in a predetermined direction being disposed enclosing the optical axis. Even when the lens barrel rotates at the predetermined angle, the end part of the coil spring at the plural slide plane projection side is held between two neighboring slide plane projections in the plural projections on the slide plane around the optical axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
