Abstract:
To provide an optical device which reduces influence of reflected ambient light from certain specific inactive areas of IMODs.
The invention provides an optical device comprising: a substrate; a static optical component which is formed on the substrate, includes a film stack and absorbs light, the film stack having an aluminum layer; and a dynamic optical component on the substrate. The invention also provides a method for fabricating the same.
