Abstract:

To provide an optical device and a wavelength selection filter capable of realizing a negative feedback control having a high speed responsiveness whose time delay in the responsiveness of the temp. control of a Fabry-perot etalon type resonator is eliminated and a high control accuracy, and to provide a temp. control method used therefor.

This device is provided with a temp. control means 40 for executing a constant current control supplying a constant current to a heating electrode having a prescribed negative temp. characteristic or positive temp. characteristic with respect to a temp. change and also continuing a negative feedback temp. control to apply a constant current for holding the operating temp. of an etalon medium 208 to the heating electrode based on a negative feedback function using the electric resistance value of the heating electrode and the negative temp. characteristic or the positive temp. characteristic at the time of a power supply.
