Abstract:
To realize high-output application by controlling the reflected part of a radiated light beam to guide it in any desired direction.
A radiated light beam from a radiation source is at least partially reflected by a partial reflection element which is inclined at a small angle to the optical axis of an input light beam so as to reflect part of the radiated light beam to a transmissive element disposed close to the radiation source. Consequently, reflective attenuation is reduced or eliminated and polarization-depending loss is optimized without making a device large-sized.
