It is about the optical diagnosis of cutaneous disease and a device, a light source system and a method for treatment in which the skin condition is evaluated accurately by using fluorescence and white light at the same time to improve the effect of skin diagnosis, and fluorescent diagnosis and photodynamic therapy can be simultaneously performed at the same site of skin. This invented optical diagnosis and the therapeutic device are composed of a camera head, a light source system providing fluorescent excitation light irradiating the skin site to the camera head by being connected to the case of the camera head with an optical guide capable of phototransfer, and an image processing and analysis system which processes analyzes and stores image signals by receiving their transfer from the camera head to display the color image acquired by white light through a monitor with a digital color TV camera and a fluorescent image acquired by the excitation light and these composites, and to control the whole of operation of the camera head and the light source system.
