Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an optical disc cartridge which can be discriminated easily from a 3.5" FD cartridge and can prevent erroneous insertion of the 3.5" FD cartridge.
CONSTITUTION: The optical disc cartridge 100 is provided, at the first front edge 100a thereof, movably with a shutter member 101 which is shown in open state on the drawing. At a corner defined by the first edge and a left side edge (second edge), an inclining part 105 is formed in the opening direction of the shutter member 101. When being inserted into the cartridge inserting part 200 of an information processor, the optical cartridge 100 is inserted up to a normal position where the inclining part 105 faces a stopper 201 at the inserting part 200 accurately. Since the inclining part 105 is provided at a corner on the opposite side to a 3.5" FD cartridge, erroneous insertion of the 3.5" FD cartridge into the cartridge inserting part 200 is blocked by the stopper 201.
