Title:
OPTICAL DISK RECORDING/REPRODUCING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3226177
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of a program searching by a conventional reproducing function.
CONSTITUTION: After the recording of program information is over and TOC information stored in a TOC memory 44 written in an optical disk 21, the program information on the optical disk 21 is reproduced in a temporary stop reproducing state and an accurate program starting position is confirmed by using temporary TOC information on the TOC memory 44. When indexing information on the TOC memory 44 is not proper for the confirmed accurate program starting position, the indexing information on the TOC memory 44 is rectified in accordance with this accurate program starting position information. When the confirmation and rectification of the indexing information on the TOC memory 44 is completed, the indexing information on the TOC memory 4r is written in the optical disk 2. Thus, at the time of reproducing, an extremely accurate program searching is operated by only specifying a track number, that is, a music number in accordance with the indexing information.
