Title:
OPTICAL DISK DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3812348
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely reproduce a wobble signal even when the constant angular velocity(CAV) control is carried out in a recordable or WORM type optical disk device.
SOLUTION: A guide track wobbled on the basis of the address information so as to become a specified frequency when the constant linear velocity(CLV) control is carried out, is provided in the optical disk 10. The reflected light is detected by an optical pickup part 16, and the wobble signal is taken out by a wobble signal reproducing part 18. The wobble signal reproducing part 18 is provided with two band-pass filters(BPF), and a center frequency of the wobble signal changed in company with the CAV control is detected by the 1st BPF to coincide a center frequency of the 2nd BPF with this detected frequency. The wobble signal is extracted by the 2nd BPF to demodulate the address information.
