Title:
OPTICAL DISK RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3257118
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To accurately set a pulse width of a laser light waveform.
CONSTITUTION: An information signal is recorded on a recordable optical disk 32 by a recording light beam L outputted from a laser diode 24. In this case, a pulse signal supplying circuit 2 for supplying a pulse signal P3 to the laser diode 24 is composed of a closed loop circuit (a pulse width variable circuit 4, a CPU 6 and a pulse width detecting circuit 8) for making a pulse width τ2 of the pulse signal P3 a prescribed pulse width. By this method, the pulse width τ2 of the pulse signal P3 can accurately be set, and also its accurate pulse width can be maintained. Consequently, setting accurately and maintaining a narrow pulse width can be carried out, and hence the recording/reproducing processing on the optical disk 32 can be realized made high in frequency and speed.
