Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve information recording density by recording an information bit capable of reproducing super resolution on plural recording tracks and forming one address reproducing address bit for a set of recording tracks adjacent to the radial direction of an optical disk.
CONSTITUTION: By a system controller 10, the least significant bit of address data is discriminated when arriving at a target track, and whether the final target address data corresponds to a group G or not is discriminated. When the final target address is the group G, since it is on the group G where a basic address data is recorded, a pickup arrives at the target track and seek processing is ended. Further, when the final target address is a land, by the controller 10, a tracking servo circuit 5 is controlled, and a tracking servo is switched so as to trace the land L, and the pick up is seek-processed to be drawn into the land L. Thereafter, by the controller 10, the super resolution reproducing operation of the information bit recorded on the G or the L is performed.
