Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten access time by recording the recording information in a write enable region to the inside of guide groove parts.
CONSTITUTION: The recording information is recorded in recessed part 1a in a read-only region 1 and the recording information is recorded in the guide grooves 2b along the groove-shaped guide grooves 2b in this write enable region 2. The need for inverting the polarities of servo signals is, therefore, eliminated even in the case of alternately executing the reading out of the recording information of the read-only region 1 and the write enable region 2. The access time is shortened in this way.
