Title:
OPTICAL DISTANCE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003202205
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problems on a conventional optical sensor such as high manufacturing cost, deterioration of performance due to light absorption by a reflection film like deterioration of a signal-to-noise ratio, difficulty in thinning, inability to make a lens diameter larger due to a dimensional limitation and inability to carry out long-distance measurement.

This optical distance sensor is provided with a substrate having a light emitting element and a light receiving element, one or more lens faces for converging an emission light from the light emitting element, and an optical structural body integrally formed of one or more lens faces to converge a reflected light from the object to be measured and a reflecting means of 2 faces polarizing a reflected optical axis from the object to be measured.
