PURPOSE: To eliminate the asymmetrical aberration at the time of molding generated by a molding tool for optical element material and perform the molding of optical element with high accuracy.
CONSTITUTION: A body type carrier 45 on which a retaining section 39 of a carrier arm 43 for optical element material 50 and also the optical element material 50 are placed is formed by a magnetic material, and both of said sections are formed and magnetized into the same polarity. Said body type carrier 45 is retained non-contact with the retaining section 39 by the repulsion magnetic force magnetized to the same polarity of both. The optical element material 50, therefore, can be heated under the condition of being heat insulated from the retaining section 39 of the carrier arm 43.
