Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing an optical element molding die for inhibiting nonuniformity of composition after sintering, for obtaining a raw die of a molding surface having good machinability and for obtaining the molding surface of high precision and to provide the optical element molding die obtained by the method.
The die manufacturing method comprises a step of making base material, then sintering a sinter powder including nickel, copper and phosphorus and manufacturing the raw die of the molding surface (S01) and a step of machining the manufactured raw die of the molding surface into the molding surface (S02).
