The optical equipment 200 is supported by elastic members 9pa, 9pb, 9ya, and 9yb, and has a control means 301 for controlling the drive of movable units 1 and L1 used for preventing vibration. The control means performs a first control operation that controls the drive of the movable unit around the first position where the weight of the movable unit itself balances with the support force of the elastic members, and a second control operation that controls the drive of the movable unit around a second position where the movable unit is on the opposite side of the gravity direction in relation to the first position and on the optical shaft side of an optical system.
