Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber apparatus capable of efficiently making a laser beam incident on a core.SOLUTION: An optical fiber apparatus 1 comprises an optical fiber part 2 having a core 21a for transmitting a laser beam at a center portion, and a fiber connection part 7 for connecting an end of an incident side of the optical fiber part 2. The fiber connection part 7 comprises a laser beam path part 73 formed in a hollow shape for passing the laser beam incident on the core 21a therethrough. The laser beam path part 73 comprises: a diaphragm part 73b whose inner width dimension is smaller than an outer width dimension of the core 21a; and a contact part 73c disposed on an end of a downstream side, and whose inner width dimension is larger than the outer width dimension of the core 21a to contact with a portion outside the core 21a at an end surface of the incident side of the optical fiber part 2.
