Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an optical fiber cable provided with the strong connection of an optical fiber and a core member capable of easily accessing the optical fiber.
CONSTITUTION: This optical fiber cable 20 is composed of the core member 34 extended in a longitudinal direction provided with a groove 36 opened to an outer surface, at least one optical fiber arranged inside the groove, a means for sufficiently connecting the optical fiber to the core member 34 so as to almost block relative movement between the optical fiber and the core member 34 in the case that force is applied to the cable 20 and a sheath means 24 arranged around the core member 34.
