Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate inserting operation by specifying the size of a groove for storing plural optical fiber cables. CONSTITUTION:The groove 2 of the optical fiber cable terminal clamper for storing plural optical fiber cables 1 is made a little bit larger than the external diameter of the cable 1 and the depth (b) of the groove 2 is nearly equal to the sum of all external diameters of the cables 1. Then the cross section of this terminal clamper is constituted by joining an L-shaped rod body 3 and a long plate body 4 into a rod body with U-shaped cross section. Consequently, when the optical fiber cables 1 are inserted into the groove 2 in order, an optical cable which is inserted in advance is easily prevented from falling or shifting in position owing to vibration without using any special jig nor fixing the optical fiber cables 1 temporarily.
