Title:
OPTICAL FIBER CABLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01216305
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To sufficiently secure the surplus length required for an after-branch work and to facilitate the after-branch by specifying an inversion angle and an inversion pitch of a spiral groove and a sag dimension at the time when a two-core batch optical core fiber has been taken out of the groove. CONSTITUTION:An inversion angle of a spiral groove 1 is set to >=180 deg.C, and also its inversion pitch is set to 200-600mm. Moreover, when a sheath 5 is peeled off by prescribed length in an arbitrary place in the longitudinal direction of this optical fiber cable, when an arbitrary two-core batch optical core fiber has been taken out of the groove, it can be sagged by at least >=15mm. In such a way, the surplus length required for an after-branch work can be secured enough, and also, the optical fiber cable by which workability of the after- branch is satisfactory can be obtained.
