Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber connector for a game machine that can effectively prevent fraudulent acts such as abstraction and alteration of an optical signal by precluding an optical fiber from being reconnected to a connector.SOLUTION: A light transmitting and receiving unit 11 for accepting a plug terminal 21 of an optical fiber cable 20 comprises: an optical fiber insertion hole 12 into which the optical fiber cable 20 is inserted; a disconnection pin moving hole 13 that intersects with the optical fiber insertion hole 12; a disconnection pin 31 that is movable in the disconnection pin moving hole 13; and energization means 35 that always applies elastic force to the disconnection pin 31. The disconnection pin 31 uses the elastic force applied by the energization means 35 to press the plug from a side at an insertion place where the optical fiber cable 20 is inserted into the optical fiber insertion hole 12. When the optical fiber cable 20 is removed from the light transmitting and receiving unit 11, the disconnection pin 31 is moved by the energization means 35 and optically and mechanically disconnects the optical fiber insertion hole 12.
