Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the operability by providing a guide part, which guides the optical fiber of a coated optical fiber inserted into a holding member holding an optical fiber connector terminal main body into the optical fiber insertion hole of the optical fiber connector terminal main body, to the holding member. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber connector terminal 5 is constituted by fitting a guide block 6 as the guide part B and the optical fiber connector terminal main body 8 to the holding member 7. The guide block 6 is a precise plastic machined article and the optical fiber guide hole is formed in the center part of the guide block 6. When the optical fiber 42 is inserted into the optical fiber insertion hole 12, the optical fiber 42 is guided to the optical fiber insertion hole 12 by the optical fiber guide hole of the guide block 6. Consequently, the extremely thin optical fiber 42 can easily and securely be inserted into the optical fiber insertion hole 12.
