PURPOSE: To scarcely cause a position shift by inserting an optical fiber strand into a pipe-like member having the stepped inside diameter of the inside diameter part being thicker than the diameter of a part whose diameter is thick by melting, etc., a part thereof, and the inside diameter part into which the tip of the optical fiber strand can be inserted, and fixing it by filling a resin, etc.
CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber core wire 11 is inserted into a pipe-like member 13 having the stepped inside diameter of the inside diameter part which has thickened the diameter of a part of an optical fiber strand 12 exposed by removing the resin covering of the tip, is thicker than the diameter of the optical fiber strand 12, and thinner than the diameter of a part thickened by melting, and the inside diameter part into which the optical fiber core wire 11 can be inserted, and fixed by a resin 14. In such a way, by the part where the diameter of the optical fiber strand 12 has been thickened, the coupling of the resin 14 and the optical fiber strand 12 becomes firm, and a relative position shift of the optical fiber strand 12 and the pipe-like member 13 comes to scarcely occur.
