Abstract:
To provide an optical fiber fusion splicing device with which the position adjustment of optical fibers is made possible by inexpensive parts alone.
This optical fiber fusion splicing device is constituted to fusion splice the end faces of the optical fibers 1 by butting the end faces of the fibers against each other and is provided with a light source 4, a light shielding material 8 formed with a slit 7 and a photosensor 9 for receiving the light 5 which is emitted from this light source 4 and passes the slit 7 by intersecting with the optical fibers 1 in order of this arrangement.
