Abstract:
To solve the problem that vibration cannot be located or that an amount of phase fluctuation (amount of light path length fluctuation) cannot be determined simply by a phase difference θ between clockwise propagation light and counterclockwise propagation light in the conventional optical fiber ring interference type sensor.
Optical fiber ring interference type sensors with different wavelengths are configured by sharing one optical fiber loop, and at the same time two interference light intensity is observed to calculate the vibration position and the amount of light path fluctuation.
