Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-prefixed tension optical fiber-sensitive spring configuration having a full spring covered layer of which the external diameter matching standardization is 0.9 mm and the full length is covered with spring material and whose elastic area has a linear stress distortion relationship in it, and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: In an optical fiber-sensitive spring configuration in which a comparatively long cylindrical tensile coil spring 301, a comparatively short cylindrical compressive coil spring 302 and a comparatively long cylindrical tensile coil spring 303 are connected in series and a single-mode optical fiber 304 has a grating FBG area 203 having a certain length inscribed in it, the grating FBG area 203 gives the preset maximum permissible compressive distortion quantity of sensing elements by, after fixing both ends of the cylindrical compressive coil spring compressed to a preset gauge length, releasing it from the applied force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3B
