Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a side view type optical fiber sensor head which can reduce manufacturing cost in a simple structure without causing malfunction due to intrusion and adhesion of dust inside the sensor head.
CONSTITUTION: In a side view type optical fiber sensor head, an optical fiber 1 is retained by insertion from one edge part of a through hole and then a transparent retention sleeve 3 with a window 2 at a side wall and a disc-shaped reflector 5 with a reflection surface 4 for reflecting light from the end face of the optical fiber 1 toward a window 2 are provided.
