An optical fiber tape core wire 1 of the present invention has a structure where two to four coated optical fiber element wires 2, having a coating layer 5 in which an optical fiber element wire 4 is coated with resin, are lined up and entirely coated with resin to turn into a tape and have a tape layer 3. According to the invention, when a diameter of the coating layer 5 is 750-900 μm, a thickness T of the tape layer 3 is 20-40 μm, a Young's modulus is 200-1500 MPa, the number of the coated optical fiber element wires 2 is N (pieces), an outer diameter of the coating layer 5 is Rc (mm), and the Young's modulus of the coating layer 5 is Y (MPa), a formula 270≤N×Rc×Y≤3600 is satisfied.
