Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an optical fiber type physical quantity measuring system at low cost which is capable of highly accurate measurement. CONSTITUTION:In an optical fiber type multiple points physical quantity measuring system, sensors 22a to 22d are connected in between an optical fiber 14 for transmission and an optical fiber 16 for reception. Based on the light intensity variation of the light pulse passing each sensor 22a to 22d, specific physical quantities are measured at each sensor 22a to 22d. In between the optical fiber 14 for transmission and the optical fiber 16 for reception, provided are reference optical fibers 38a to 38d connected in parallel to the sensors 22a to 22d so as not to be affected by the physical quantities of the sensors 22a to 22d, a light receiver 40 to calculate each physical quantity by measuring intensity of light pulse passing each of the sensors 22a to 22d and the reference optical fibers 38a to 38d and correcting the light intesity at the sensors 22a to 22d with the light intensity at the reference optical fibers 38a to 38d, and a signal processing device 42.
