Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film having excellent brightness performance (light intensity).SOLUTION: The optical film has a sea-island structure including a dispersed phase (I) and a continuous phase (II) and is stretched at least in one direction by two stages of stretching including a relaxation step between a stretching step of a first stage and a stretching step of a second stage, wherein the difference between a refractive index of an axis parallel to the stretching direction of the optical film in the dispersed phase (I) and a refractive index of an axis parallel to the stretching direction of the optical film in the continuous phase (II) is ≥0.1.
