Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film which is excellent in slipperiness and flexibility even when thinned and contains a cycloolefin-based resin and elastomer particles, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided an optical film which contains a cycloolefin-based resin and elastomer particles, where a refractive index of the cycloolefin-based resin under an environment at 23°C and 55% RH in a wavelength of measurement light of 589 nm is 1.45 or more and less than 1.53, an absolute value of a refractive index difference between the cycloolefin-based resin and the elastomer particles that has been measured on the condition is in a range of 0.020-0.036, and an average particle size of the elastomer particles is in a range of 5-500 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
