Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an optical film capable of effectively removing foreign matter fastened to the roll surface or fine foreign matter on a roll surface, and capable of manufacturing the optical film on which defects or the like are minimized.SOLUTION: A roll device includes a roll main body 2 and a blade 3 for removing foreign matter which is pushed against the roll main body 2. Therein, the blade 3 for removing foreign matter has a blade main body 10, a retention member 11 which retains the blade main body 10 and a rigidity applying member 15 which reinforces the whole rigidity. The blade main body 10 has a blade shape part 12 on a lateral surface in the longitudinal direction and the blade shape part 12 side of the blade main body 10 is projected from the retention member 11 in a cantilever shape. The whole bending rigidity of the retention member 11 and the rigidity applying member 15 is 4×10N.mmor more. The blade shape part 12 of the blade main body 10 is pushed against a part of the roll main body 2, cleaning of the roll main body 2 is performed and, at the same time, a part of the roll main body 2 is brought into contact with an optical film or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
