Abstract:
To obtain an optically homogeneous film suitable for the use in a liquid crystalline device and free from strain of image.
This optical film is composed of amorphous thermoplastic resin. The optical film is obtained by monoaxially or biaxially stretching the film and has ≤200 μm thickness and ≤5 μm unevenness of thickness and has ≤10 nm phase difference in planer direction and ≤2 nm unevenness of in-plane phase difference.
