Abstract:
To provide an optical film which has small photo elasticity coefficients and is excellent in terms of exhibiting properties of the phase difference and attachability to a polarizer, a polarizing plate including the optical film and a liquid crystal display apparatus.
An optical film includes at least one repeating unit of the general formula (1), a polymer (A) having at least one repeating unit made from monomers with hydroxyl group or amid bond, and cellulose ester.
