Abstract:

To provide an optical film capable of improving light leakage during a black display time, when being used for a liquid crystal display device.

This optical film has the first high refractive-index layer, a low refractive-index layer formed just above the first high refractive-index layer, and the second high refractive-index layer formed just above the low refractive-index layer, wherein a refractive index of the low refractive-index layer is lower than each refractive index of the first high refractive-index layer and the second high refractive-index layer.
