The film with ≤1.5 yellow chromaticity, ≤1% haze and ≥85% total transmittance is obtained by using a resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin with a substituted or non-substituted imide group in a side chain (A), a thermoplastic resin with a substituted or non-substituted phenyl group and a nitrile group in a side chain (B) and one or more kinds of pigments selected from inorganic and organic pigments. The film is effective in optical applications such as a protective film for a polarizer.
