Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the assembling process of an optical circuit by inserting the lower part of an optical filter into a groove, and fixing the optical filter while pressing the vertical surface of a jig against the optical filter. CONSTITUTION:The optical filter 13 is inserted into the groove 12 of a flat base 11. In this state, the optical filter 13 is movable only in the length direction of the groove 12 and its position is determined. The perpendicularity of the optical fiber 13 to the flat base 11 is not guaranteed, so the vertical surface 14c of a glass body 14 is pressed against the optical filter 13, which is then adjusted to become perpendicular to the base 11. In this state, the optical filter 13 is fixed to the base 11 and then fixed at right angles to the base 11. At this time, the glass body 14 may be fixed together with the optical filter 13 or detached after the optical filter 13 is fixed.
