Abstract:
To provide an optical filter which is excellent in adhesion due to a change with time while suppressing warpage and undulation.SOLUTION: An optical filter of the present invention has an optical interference thin film laminate and a light absorbing thin film laminate, which have different stress directions, on a substrate. An area including an end face of the optical interference thin film laminate is covered with the light absorbing thin film laminate or an area including an end face of the light absorbing thin film laminate is covered with the optical interference thin film laminate. Moreover, the optical film may be used for an imaging apparatus. Also, the optical filter may be used for a light intensity adjustment device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
