Abstract:

PURPOSE: To stabilize respective frequencies all together with high accuracy for numbers of carrier light sources whose frequencies differ from each other.
CONSTITUTION: A pulse light is made incident on an optical loop circuit 4 from a frequency reference light source 1 whose stimulation frequency is stabilized and a prescribed frequency shift is imparted to a pulse light at every circulation of the optical loop circuit 4 and the frequency of carrier light sources (semiconductor lasers LD1-LDn) is stabilized in time division by a pulse light string whose frequency is changed at every propagation delay time by one circulation obtained from the frequency shift.
