Title:
OPTICAL HEAT SENSITIVE RECORDING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58153671
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to perform the recording whose density is uniform, by providing a means, by which the value of a current flowing the light irradiated part of a light conductive layer is uniformly controlled in the optical heat sensitive recording device, thereby making the fusion of an ink layer uniform.

CONSTITUTION: A recording drum 10 is constituted by laminating a transparent conductive film 12, the light conductive layer 14, and a transparent film 16 on a light transmitting base drum 11. A heat fusible ink layer 16 is formed on the drum 10. Recording paper PA is closely contacted with the layer 16. A voltage is applied across both conductive layers 12 and 16. Light is irradiated from the inside of the base drum 11 in a pattern shape. The ink 16 is fused by the Joule heat caused by the current conduction at the irradiated part. Then the ink is transferred to the paper PA. In this optical heat sensitive recording device, the means 50, which uniformly controls the value of the current flowing the light irradiated part of the light conductive layer 14, is provided. Namely, in a light source driving part 42, a series picture signal is sequentially inputted for every block and light is emitted. In a current control part 50, the value of the current flowing the light conductive part 14 is controlled to the value which is proportional to the number of light emitting dots for every block.
