Abstract:

To provide a technique for highly accurately measuring the physical quantity of an object to be measured, on the basis of a plurality of OCT images plotting the different regions of the object to be measured.

An optical image measuring instrument 1 divides low coherence light LO into signal light LS and reference light LR, and divides the optical path of the reference light LR into two optical paths different in light path length so as to divide the reference light LR into two reference lights LRa, LRb. Besides, the instrument 1 makes the reference light LRa, LRb coming by way of the two optical paths respectively interfere with the signal light LS coming by way of a subject eye E so as to generate interference light LC where the forms of the subject eye E in the two depth positions (the eyeground Ef and a cornea Ec) respectively are reflected, and detects the interference light LC to generate detection signals. Then, the instrument 1 forms the eyeground tomographic image and a cornea tomographic image, on the basis of the detection signals, analyzes the tomographic images, and obtains a distance between the cornea and the retina of the subject eye E.
