Title:
OPTICAL IMAGING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004209268
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an optical imaging device which can compensate the variation of interference intensity due to birefringence variation of a fiber in a probe even when the optical probe is bent in a body cavity.

This optical imaging device has a first memory means to retain interference signals corresponding to the specific one directional shake of an optical device and a second memory means to retain interference signals corresponding to the shake in the direction reverse to the above direction. The device is constructed so that contents stored in the first memory means and the second memory means are read out in the reverse order to obtain interference signals scanned in the same direction.
