Abstract:
PURPOSE:To transmit plural signals simultaneously by providing an optical modulating means with plural divided areas and arranging light receiving elements corresponding to the divided areas. CONSTITUTION:The optical modulating means 67 has the divided areas and the light receiving elements 31 are arranged corresponding to the divided areas. Consequently, light emitted by a surface light emitting element 1 is modulated by the divided areas and the modulated light is detected by the light receiving elements 31, which sends signals. Therefore, the light which is incident on the light receiving elements 31 can be modulated optionally by using one light emitting element. Consequently, various signals can be sent to an optional light receiving element 31 even with only one device.
