Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information reader that actualizes speedy bar code read processing needed for business by using a general-purpose camera module.SOLUTION: An optical information reader comprises: a light irradiation part which performs irradiation with marker light in a predetermined shape; an image data acquisition part which picks an image and acquires image data; a bar code information read part which reads bar code information included in the image data; a display part which displays the information; and a control part which controls the bar code information read part and display part. The control part makes the light irradiation part irradiate to perform the irradiation with the marker light when an input part receives a bar code read preparation command, makes the image data acquisition part acquires image data of a predetermined region specified through the irradiation with the marker light, makes the bar code information read part reads the bar code information included in the image data, and makes the display part displays a read result of the bar code information.
