PURPOSE: To execute the reading without generating the deterioration of a reproducing signal by using the tracking error detecting means for controlling a tracking, detecting the inclination of a disk and correcting the inclination of the light axis of an information reproducing device with the detecting value.

CONSTITUTION: A light beam for recording and reproducing information is radiated onto the track of an information disk surface and the reflecting light is received by a light receiving element 70 of an optical pick-up. By removing direct current components ic and id to show the inclination of a disk through an LPF 8 for the output signal of the element 70, inputting this to operational amplifier 10 and operating ic-id, the inclination detecting signal of the disk is obtained. Further, by driving a motor 12 through a driver 11 with the detecting signal, the inclination of an optical pick-up is corrected, the orthogonal relation of the laser beam light axis and the disk surface of the optical pick-up is maintained and the comatic aberration occurrence of a beam spot can be eliminated. The tracking error component of the output of the element 70 can be detected through an HPF9.
