Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively copy a transmitted picture or the like by providing a second segment including information for discriminating whether information to be transmitted is field information or frame in formation between a first segment indicating the leading position of a series of a transmission information unit and a third segment indicating a termination in an optical signal. CONSTITUTION:The optical signal includes the first segment 701 indicating the leading position of a series of the transmission information unit, the second segment 702 depositioned therebehind and including the information for discriminating whether the picture information is the field picture or the frame picture and the third segment 703 positioned therebehind and indicating the termination of a series of the transmission information unit. Thereby, the field/frame of the transmitted picture information is accurately discriminated, so that recording information or the like can be transmitted accurately in a wireless to a receiver with a recording medium mounted internally of an electronic camera as it is, and even when a signal consisting of the optical signal or an electric wave emitted from the device of the same kind is existed, the interference with these signals can be avoided.
