Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an optical laminated sheet excellent in surface smoothness and suitable to an electrode substrate for producing a liq. crystal diaplay panel by providing the hardened layer of the specified active energy beam-curing resin mixed with epoxy resin on an optically isotropic sheet.
CONSTITUTION: The hardened layer 2 of an active energy beam-curing resin mixed with epoxy resin is provided on a single or double-layered optically isotropic sheet 1. The roughness of the free surface of the hardened layer 2 is controlled to ≤0.5μm, the retardation value of the entire sheet to ≤60nm and the visible radiation transmittance to ≥60%. Since the smoothness of the free surface of the hardened layer 2 position on the surface of the laminated sheet is high, the display is not purpled or greened, and the screen is easily seen even when the sheet is used as the electrode substrate of a liq. crystal cell contg. an STN liq. crystal.
