Title:
OPTICAL LENS AND LIGHTING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012138208
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To separately control light distribution of two directions in a simple structure.

The lighting system 100 is provided with a plurality of LEDs 111, an optical lens array 110, and a substrate 112. The optical lens array 110 consists of a platy translucent member and one of the two plate faces makes light incident and the other emits light. Light-refracting parts 130 are formed at a plurality of sites of a plate face on a side emitting light, out of the two plate faces of the optical lens array 110. Each light-refracting part 130 is nearly vertical to the plate face and has a cross section curved in convex as seen from one direction (an X-axis direction) out of two directions (the X-axis direction and a Y'-axis direction) nearly vertical to each other. Each light-refracting part 130 has its cross section curved in concave as seen from the other direction (the Y'-axis direction) out of the two directions. The LEDs 111 are mounted on the substrate 112 in the same arrangement as that of the light-refracting parts 130 on the plate face where the light-refracting parts 130 of the optical lens array 110 are formed.
