Abstract:
To provide an optical element having stable diffraction efficiency in each working wavelength region in the entire visible region of a diffractive optical element.
An organic optical material is used in which the relationship between the Abbe number (d) and the secondary dispersion (g, F) is expressed by the formula:g, F-210-3d+0.59. As a result, the optical element is obtained which does not cause partial efficiency drops with wavelengths and in which the diffraction efficiency is improved in each working wavelength region in the entire visible region and the chromatic aberration is more precisely corrected.
